Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah 2, Ayah 286
لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا
Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.
**Simple Meaning:**
This means Allah only gives us duties and tests that we can handle.
**Hadith Source:**
Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 6858
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: "مَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُ يُلْقَى شَيْئًا مِنَ الْمُصِيبَةِ إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا عَنْهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا"
The Prophet ﷺ said: "No believer is afflicted with a calamity except that Allah expiates his sins because of it, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn."
