1. From the Quran: Allah says in Surah An-Nisa (4:3): "وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا تُقْسِطُوا فِي الْيَتَامَىٰ فَانكِحُوا مَا طَابَ لَكُم مِّنَ النِّسَاءِ" Translation: "And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphans, marry women that please you..." This shows marriage is allowed with fairness and kindness. 2. From Hadith: Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A woman is married for four things: her wealth, her lineage, her beauty, and her religion. So marry the religious woman, may your hands be rubbed with dust (may you prosper)." (Bukhari 5090) This means religion and good character are important in marriage. 3. Scholars like Imam Abu Hanifa say the conditions for marriage include: - Both bride and groom must consent. - There must be a guardian (wali) for the bride. - There should be a clear offer and acceptance (ijab and qabul). - A gift (mahr) is given to the bride. 4. Using reasoning (qiyas): Marriage is like a promise to care and respect each other. So all parts must be clear and agreed upon to keep the promise strong. So, in your life, if you want to marry someone, make sure: - Both say yes happily. - A guardian helps the bride. - There is a clear agreement. - A gift is given to show respect. This helps make a happy and blessed marriage!
