وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
"And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful." (Surah Al-Hashr, 59:9)
وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
"And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger - He will admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever. And that is the great attainment." (Surah An-Nisa, 4:13)
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ، وَمَا زَادَ ٱللَّهُ عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلَّا عِزًّا، وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ لِلَّهِ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ ٱللَّهُ»
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Charity does not decrease wealth, and Allah increases the honor of the one who forgives, and whoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah raises him." (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2588)
This means when you give up something, even if it is valuable to you, for the sake of Allah, He will help you and provide a way out of difficulties. It teaches us to trust Allah and be generous and humble.
