**Meaning:** Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud رضي الله عنه asked: “O Messenger of Allah, which deed is best?” He said: “Prayer at its proper time.” I asked: “Then what?” He said: “Being good to parents.” I asked: “Then what?” He said: “Jihad in the way of Allah.”
**Simple Explanation:** The Prophet ﷺ said that one of the best deeds is to pray on time. This means all the prayers are very important, but praying at the correct time is especially beloved to Allah.

**Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 2616, Hasan Sahih**
رَأْسُ الْأَمْرِ الْإِسْلَامُ، وَعَمُودُهُ الصَّلَاةُ، وَذِرْوَةُ سَنَامِهِ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
**Meaning:** “The head of the matter is Islam, its pillar is prayer, and its highest peak is jihad in the way of Allah.”
